We serve the Miskito people living on the Northeastern Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua. In 2016, we launched a sustainable chicken hatchery program in collaboration with the Verbo Feeding Center. The program trains local women to raise chickens for the Center, which feeds hundreds of children daily. Eventually, the women will benefit financially from the sales of eggs and chickens.

Protein is scarce for indigenous people living in the Amazon basin of Ecuador. Since 2010, we have been combating malnutrition through our “chicken program” – teaching tribal groups to raise eggs and meat as sustainable protein sources.
